Job Title: Development Editor

Qualifications: Graduates/Post Graduates. Science background is preferable.
Job Profile: - Addressing & correcting weaknesses in the script & liaisoning with authors to meet content accuracy according to in-house requirements.
- Coordination with the inhouse team.
- Monitoring and maintaining content updates.
- Ensuring that external contributors meet content submissions on time.
- Supporting the publishing team in liaison with authors.
- Conducting research into subject areas, as required.
- Reviewing material submitted for content, accuracy and appropriateness.
- Providing feedback to authors, where needed.
Experience: 1-3 years in Creative Editing, Publishing, Research, Writing.
Skills: - Must have a keen eye for detail and work to a high level of accuracy.
- Must have a proven track record of managing multiple projects and being able to deliver against deadlines.
- Highly organized and disciplined and able to act on own initiative.
